General Project Description

This project involves installing new deep well anodes for the natural gas distribution system at two locations in Coalinga, CA: the north alley entrance on Baker Street between Buchanan and Lincoln Streets, and the west alley entrance on North Coalinga Street between Tyler and West Polk Streets. The scope includes drilling new wells approximately 10 feet offset from existing anodes, installing anodes with coke backfill and PVC vent pipes, constructing utility boxes with footing, and trenching to connect anode cables to junction boxes. Junction boxes will be installed on galvanized steel posts, anode wires connected, and the new junction boxes tied into the existing system in parallel. Upon completion, the system must be fully operational and tested for continuity and proper performance.
