General Project Description
The 2025-2026 Street Pavement Maintenance Project involves the rehabilitation and preventative maintenance of damaged pavement along Colma Boulevard (from El Camino Real to Junipero Serra Boulevard) and Serramonte Boulevard East (from El Camino Real to Hillside Boulevard). The work includes necessary dig-outs, crack sealing on both roadways to prevent water penetration, and targeted dig-outs at select locations on Junipero Serra Boulevard and Hillside Boulevard. An alternate bid (Alternate A) allows for potential additional crack sealing on Junipero Serra Boulevard, from the Daly City boundary to the South San Francisco city limit. The project requires compliance with Caltrans Standard Details and Technical Specifications, as well as Town of Colma Standard Details and Specifications. Key work elements include mobilization, traffic control, water pollution control, removal and replacement of existing asphalt concrete for dig-out repairs, and crack sealing using hot-applied asphalt-rubber crack seal material or Type A (3/8" maximum aggregate) asphalt concrete cement.
