General Project Description

This project involves the procurement and installation of complete, operational audiovisual (AV) systems for Multipurpose Rooms (MPRs) at various school sites within the Colton Joint Unified School District. The scope includes furnishing and installing AV equipment, components, and related accessories such as displays, projectors, screens, speakers, microphones, cameras, control systems, cabling, mounts, and racks. The work requires adherence to project drawings, specifications, and manufacturer recommendations, coordination with the owner, architect, and IT team, pre-installation site surveys, detailed installation planning, mounting and alignment of equipment, routing and terminating signal, control, and power cables according to EIA/TIA standards, integrating components for a user-friendly system, and configuring/programming control systems, DSPs, and user interfaces. Post-installation tasks include system testing, calibration, performance verification, final system demonstration, and user training.
