Colusa County is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Colusa County Detention Center Corridor Project, identified under Solicitation ID: Y2527.00. Work is to be performed near 929 Bridge St, Colusa, CA 95932, USA in Colusa County.
General Project Description
The project involves the renovation of a portion of the Colusa County Jail to establish a pathway to the new Colusa County Detention and Treatment Facility. This internal renovation focuses on existing jail dorms (15, 16, and 17) to create more secure and direct access between intake/support areas and the new housing unit. The scope includes selective demolition of plumbing elements, barred walls, sliding doors, and door control conduits. New construction involves installing full-height metal stud framed walls with Type X Very High Impact gypsum board, 16-gauge hollow metal doors and frames (some with security glazing), security detention hardware, windows with security glazing, patching penetrations with steel plates, concrete floor patching, and new manual doors with security hardware. The project also entails the installation of security-grade sealants and interior painting.
