General Project Description
The City of Commerce is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for professional services to prepare Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) for the Camp Commerce Deck Replacement Project. This project involves replacing existing deteriorated wooden decks with composite fire-resista nt decking materials to enhance safety against wildfires, incorporating ADA-compliant ramps, slip-resistant features, and installing underdeck drainage systems to improve durability and functionality. The consultant will be responsible for conceptual design, site assessment, development of comprehensive construction documents (site, floor, framing, elevation, foundation plans), detailed designs for decking, stairs, walkways, and ADA ramps, preparation of technical specifications, ensuring ADA compliance, obtaining necessary approvals from San Bernardino County, preparing CEQA compliance documents, and providing support services during the bidding and construction phases, including attending meetings, responding to inquiries, reviewing submittals, and preparing as-built plans.
