General Project Description

This project involves the partial demolition of existing structures and the construction of a new, one-story, approximately 3000 square feet office building for the City's Transportation Offices and Transportation Management Center. The scope of work encompasses mobilization, stormwater pollution protection, sheeting, shoring and bracing, sewer and stormwater utility connections, hazardous materials abatement, new fire barrier wall construction, fire sprinkler demolition, earthwork, concrete work, structural framing, insulation, exterior siding, roofing, doors, windows, hardware, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, low voltage IT and access control systems, fiber optic installation, solar photovoltaic and battery storage system integration, general sitework, landscaping, fencing, and asphalt slurry seal. Preparatory work, public safety measures, and daily site cleanup are also required. The City encourages the use of alternative construction methods like panelized or modular construction to minimize waste and reduce on-site construction time.
