General Project Description

This project involves pavement rehabilitation on Diamond Boulevard within the City of Concord, California. The scope of work includes mobilization, preparatory earthwork, public safety work area securing, daily site cleanup, traffic control, and water pollution control measures. Specific activities include clearing, grubbing, trimming, and root pruning; removing and replacing concrete sidewalks, curb, and gutters; constructing curb ramps; cold planning asphalt roadways; placing Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA); adjusting and lowering utility covers to finish grade; removing and replacing traffic striping, curb paint, and roadside signs; and all other related work described in the Project Manual and Plans.
