General Project Description

The Town of Corte Madera is soliciting civil engineering services for the San Clemente Drive Large Trash Capture Design project. This infrastructure project involves designing and installing two new large full trash capture devices at strategic locations within a 154-acre watershed in the Town and Caltrans right-of-way. The primary goal is to remove trash from the storm system before it enters Shorebird Marsh and San Francisco Bay to comply with NPDES permit requirements for stormwater trash capture. The scope includes project management, data collection (such as topographic survey, geotechnical investigation, potential CCTV of pipes), hydraulic flooding impact analysis, Caltrans review coordination, and the preparation of 60%, 90%, and 100% construction documents, specifications, estimates, and an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) plan.
