General Project Description

The Madera Gardens Complete Streets Project is intended to enhance mobility and safety for all users by resurfacing roadways and implementing targeted pedestrian and bicycle improvements in the Madera Gardens neighborhood. The work will include demolition, traffic and pedestrian control, clearing and grubbing, asphalt grinding, hot mix asphalt (HMA) resurfacing, asphalt digouts, microsurfacing, ADA-compliant curb ramps, sidewalk, driveway, curb and gutter, tree removal, a traffic circle, concrete bulbouts, painted bulbouts, new storm drain structures, rectangular rapid flashing beacons (RRFB), new signage and pavement markings, and other related work.
