General Project Description
The Cucamonga Valley Water District is requesting proposals for professional services related to boundary and topographic surveying. The project involves conducting comprehensive surveys for the construction of a waterline between Amethyst Avenue and Archibald Avenue, spanning from 7th Street to Meadow Street. Key services include researching existing survey controls, establishing property monuments and access easement limits, performing field surveys for ground and horizontal/vertical control (Class I Third Order accuracy on State Plane Coordinate System), conducting aerial mapping of the project site streets (200-foot limit, consistent with National Map Standards), and supplementing aerial mapping with detailed field surveying to identify specific features like manholes, valve cans, slopes, and yard boxes. The scope also mandates utility research, obtaining all necessary permits, re-establishing controls if needed, and re-tracing boundaries or easements with detailed notes. Deliverables include stamped and signed topographic maps with 1-foot contours and digital files compatible with AutoCAD 2018.
