Cucamonga Valley Water District is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Boundary and Topographic Survey for Construct Waterline in Ivy Lane and Scott Lane, North of Palo Alto Street, identified under Solicitation ID: CP26019. Work is to be performed near 10440 Ashford St, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, USA in San Bernardino County.
General Project Description
The Cucamonga Valley Water District is soliciting proposals for professional surveying services. The project involves conducting a boundary and topographic survey for an upcoming waterline construction project located in Ivy Lane and Scott Lane, north of Palo Alto Street. The scope of work includes comprehensive field surveying, record research, detailed mapping, utility research and field verification, and the preparation of required topographic maps and survey notes. The consultant will also be responsible for obtaining necessary permits.
General Bid Items
- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Research city and county records for existing survey control; show all existing survey control within the project area on any necessary Record of Survey, Corner Record Survey, and topographic strip maps.
- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Establish and set property monuments necessary to establish the property lines of the well site and the limits of the access easement. Specifications: Horizontal Control to be Class I Third Order (1/10,000 or better), established on State Plane Coordinate System, 2007 Epoch, and NAVD 29.
- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Conduct field survey work to establish ground control based on city and county benchmarks, and State Plane Coordinates (X, Y, Z elevations) as measured off found street centerline monuments; provide a topographic map with appropriate annotations for areas where monuments cannot be located.
- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Perform necessary aerial mapping of the project site for the streets, within a limit of 200 feet (100 feet on either side of the centerline of the project area). Specifications: All aerial topographic mapping consistent with the National Map Standards.
- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Conduct field surveying to supplement aerial mapping by painting around all existing manholes and valve cans in the street for visibility in aerial mapping.
- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Conduct field surveying to supplement aerial mapping by providing a list of control points indicating point designations, descriptions, coordinates, and elevations to be shown on the drawings.
- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Conduct field surveying to supplement aerial mapping by measuring and providing the valve lid and valve nut elevations for water and recycled water valves.
- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Perform a topographic survey of all existing features within the limits of the project area, including tops and toes of slopes, yard boxes, and obscured/unobscured features from aerial mapping (existing trees, heavy ground foliage, or man-made canopies).
- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Obtain elevations by level runs. Specifications: Third Order Accuracy to 0.01 feet for paved surfaces and to 0.1 feet for other surfaces.
- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Provide 1 set of stamped and wet signed topographic maps. Specifications: Include contours at one (1) foot intervals with every fifth contour labeled.
- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Provide 1 set of stamped and wet signed topographic maps. Specifications: Include all existing visible surface features and facilities.
- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Provide 1 set of stamped and wet signed topographic maps. Specifications: Show and call out record data for property lines and right-of-ways.
- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Provide 1 set of stamped and wet signed topographic maps. Specifications: Indicate city/county bench marks and basis of bearings within the project area.
- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Provide 1 set of stamped and wet signed topographic maps. Specifications: Furnish in digital format via e-mail, compatible with AutoCAD 2018, with layers matching the provided template DWG file.
- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Research all existing utilities and field verify as necessary.
- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Show and call out all utility information on the topographic plan.
- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Provide copies of all utility plans received from respective agencies.
