General Project Description
The "Fire Training Facility Window Replacement Project, PF-013" involves the removal and replacement of existing original metal-framed, single-pane windows at the Fire Training Facility located at 9275 Jefferson Boulevard in Culver City. The project requires the installation of 12 new dual-glazed aluminum window assemblies (Arcadia ULT-500 Series) with white vinyl blinds, equipped to slide horizontally. The scope includes hazardous material testing (lead-based paint and asbestos) and remediation if found, demolition of existing windows and frames, setup of plastic barriers, scaffolding, debris removal and recycling, installation of new windows with caulking and flashing, reinstallation of security grills, and interior/exterior paint touch-up. The contractor is responsible for site clean-up, dust and noise control, mobilization, arrangement of City Building Safety Inspections, generation of shop drawings and submittals, and overall project management to ensure compliance with specifications and local codes, including the City’s Construction and Demolition Waste Program. Permits will be no-fee City issued building permits.
