General Project Description

This project involves the construction of a pedestrian connection along John Daly Boulevard and Skyline Boulevard. The work includes clearing and grubbing, grading, demolition of existing asphalt concrete pavement, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and tree stumps, along with excavation and off-haul. New construction covers asphalt concrete paving, concrete sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and curb ramps conforming to ADA standards. The project also entails the installation of new pedestrian streetlights, thermoplastic striping and pavement markings, traffic signs and posts, catch basins, adjustment of utility manhole frames, covers, and other utility boxes to finished grade, and temporary traffic control. All work must comply with City of Daly City General Conditions, Standard Specifications and Drawings (Current Edition) and Caltrans Standard Specifications and Plans (2024 Edition).
