Del Mar City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Climate Action Plan Update and Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory, identified under Solicitation ID: 2026-02. General Project Description
The City of Del Mar is seeking proposals from qualified professional consulting firms to develop an updated Climate Action Plan (CAP) and conduct greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventories for two years (2022 as a new baseline year and 2024 data). The project scope includes hosting project meetings with internal stakeholders and City staff, updating community-wide and municipal GHG inventories and projections, determining new CAP measures, evaluating existing GHG reduction targets, estimating GHG impacts, performing a benefit-cost analysis, integrating social equity considerations, developing CAP implementation and monitoring procedures, and preparing a draft and final CAP update. The aim is to incorporate current climate action planning science, technologies, best management practices, policies, and state mandates into the CAP.
