General Project Description
This document is an annual notice inviting all licensed contractors interested in performing public works construction and/or repair projects up to an estimated $220,000.00 to register their firm for inclusion on a list of qualified bidders for the 2026 calendar year. The Desert Sands Unified School District operates under the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA) for these projects. Registration requires providing contact information, type of work interested in, contractor license class and number, and Department of Industrial Relations Registration Number. Contractors must also provide evidence of Commercial General Liability and Automobile Liability insurance, as well as the ability to provide Payment and Performance Bonds.
