East Palo Alto City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Citywide Lighting Assessment Project, identified under Solicitation ID: ST-04A/B. Work is to be performed near 2415 University Ave, East Palo Alto, CA 94303, USA in San Mateo County.
General Project Description
This project involves a citywide lighting assessment to identify necessary lighting improvements throughout East Palo Alto. The work scope includes performing a comprehensive citywide lighting study to determine lighting needs, preparing a detailed report summarizing findings and various lighting requirements. The Contractor will investigate and define corrective measures for each streetlight, including upgrading existing fixtures, replacing mastarms with longer ones, installing new streetlights with associated electrical work, and integrating solar lights where applicable. The assessment also covers an investigation of the Clarke Avenue Pedestrian overcrossing, with recommendations for lighting and security improvements, and a review of Park lighting and security systems. The entire study requires a photometric analysis and recommendations for smart controllers and smart lighting improvements. Additionally, the Contractor must prepare shapefiles for all city lighting and lighting assets. The bid item includes mobilization and traffic control.
