General Project Description

The City of East Palo Alto is soliciting proposals from experienced and licensed contractors for as-needed, on-call flood prevention contractor services. The work primarily focuses on stormwater drainage improvement, debris removal, pumping operations, and general flood prevention within city limits. Specific tasks include the installation and repair of drainage inlets, pumping and removal of accumulated stormwater, cleaning of valley gutters and removal of debris, providing flood-prevention support at San Francisquito Creek, levee repair and stabilization, and other related work necessary to protect public infrastructure. Contractors are expected to implement Best Management Practices (BMPs) for waterway and outfall clean-up.
