El Dorado Irrigation District is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Bass Lake Potable – Recycled Water Supplement Connection & Bridlewood Tank Rehabilitation Project Construction Management and Inspection Professional Services, identified under Solicitation ID: RFP25-25. Work is to be performed near Bass Lake Rd, Rescue, CA 95672, USA in El Dorado County.
General Project Description
The El Dorado Irrigation District is seeking a qualified Construction Management (CM) firm to provide full construction management and inspection professional services for the Bass Lake Potable – Recycled Water Supplement Connection & Bridlewood Tank Rehabilitation Project. The project involves the rehabilitation and recoating of a 4.0 million-gallon welded steel tank (Bridlewood Tank) which was constructed in 2002 and is exhibiting corrosion on structural members and roof plates. The scope includes replacing the existing steel tank roof with an aluminum dome, interior and exterior coating, installation of a new cathodic protection system, and a new access ladder. Additionally, the project includes supplement connection work for potable to recycled water flows, involving the demolition of an existing concrete pad, construction of a new concrete pad, installation of new piping appurtenances, and piping reconfiguration. Construction is planned for 2026 through 2029, with Bridlewood Tank work occurring in winter months. The CM firm will provide Resident Engineer, Construction Inspector(s) with mechanical, structural, electrical, specialty welding expertise, and Coating Inspector(s) to oversee the project.
