General Project Description

This project involves an interior lighting retrofit at Mountain View High School, requiring the contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals. The scope includes the removal and proper disposal of existing recessed lighting lenses, fluorescent lamps, and ballasts, followed by the furnishing and installation of new Kenall Lighting fixtures (model MLRS12 48 R MW PP 45L50K DCC DV WL) surface-mounted over existing recessed housing. The contractor will perform all necessary electrical connections to existing branch circuitry and switching to ensure proper operation. Additionally, the work includes ceiling repair, painting, and touch-up services at locations where new fixtures do not fully cover existing recessed openings, ensuring a neat and uniform condition. All work must comply with prevailing wage laws and applicable codes.
