General Project Description
The City of El Monte Department of Public Works is soliciting competitive proposals from qualified vendors for the design, fabrication, and supply of new overhead street name signs, side street signs, and associated mounting hardware. The purpose of this project is to replace aging, faded, or damaged street signs with new, highly reflective, and standardized signage to improve visibility, enhance driver and pedestrian safety, and promote a consistent and professional appearance across the City's roadway network. The scope includes design layout services, adherence to MUTCD/CA MUTCD and FHWA guidelines, submittals, delivery, and warranty of materials. The engagement is anticipated to have a duration of approximately one (1) year.
