El Rancho Unified School District is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, El Rancho High School Campus-Wide ADA Upgrades and Associated Site Work / Barrier Removal Project, identified under Solicitation ID: 691. Work is to be performed near 6501 Passons Blvd, Pico Rivera, CA 90660, USA in Los Angeles County.
General Project Description
This project involves campus-wide accessibility upgrades and associated site work at El Rancho High School, including barrier removal. The scope encompasses accessibility upgrades for multiple buildings (A, G, H, J, K, M, N, Q, R, T, U, V, X, Y), construction of two accessible ramps for buildings M5 and M6, installation of one accessible hi-low drinking fountain, and placement of three new signage posts for accessible parking spaces. The work also includes selective demolition, concrete reinforcing, cast-in-place concrete, rough carpentry, custom casework, lath and Portland cement stucco, gypsum board, cement backerboard, ceramic tile, rubber base, painting, and identifying devices. The project will be constructed under a Design–Bid–Build contract.

- Quantity: - Unit: - Work Item: Selective Demolition - Specifications: Protecting existing work, cleaning soiled materials, disconnecting/capping utilities, removing debris/equipment, removing indicated items, salvaging items. Demolition of foundation walls and other below-grade construction to at least 18 inches below grade, completely fill below-grade areas and voids with soil materials. Excavation safety procedures, utility location and disconnection including Dig Alert (811) notification.
- Quantity: - Unit: - Work Item: Reinforcing Steel (Rods and Mesh) - Specifications: ASTM A 615/A 615M Grade 60 (for rebar) or Grade 40 (for #4 and smaller ties/stirrups), ASTM A 706 Grade 60 (for welded rebar), ASTM A 185 (for welded wire fabric), ASTM A 82 (16 gauge tie wire). Welding with AWS A5.1 E-80XX Series, low hydrogen electrodes.
