General Project Description

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by the Elk Grove Unified School District to procure hardware, software, and professional installation and maintenance services for wireless equipment. The project aims to upgrade or install a complete wireless system at various district facilities, specifically at points of egress to the Internet located at the District Education Center and the District Student Support Center. The scope includes providing new equipment, installation services, software configuration, project deployment planning, detailed billing, shipping, and a comprehensive support plan with a 4-hour response time for major incidents. The service provider will be responsible for installing equipment in pre-determined locations, coordinating with District technology staff, and removing existing wireless network devices.
