General Project Description

This project involves the installation of Class II bike lanes on various streets within the City of Elk Grove. The primary scope includes striping, markings, and signs at six identified locations (Apple Mill Drive, East Park Drive, East Taron Drive, Emerald Vista Drive, Heritage Hill Drive, and Machado Ranch Drive). A bid alternate exists for work at an additional location (Black Kite Drive). Key work items encompass comprehensive project management including water pollution control, public notification, traffic control system implementation and public safety measures, mobilization, street sweeping, the application of both thermoplastic and painted traffic striping and pavement markings, and the installation of traffic signs and posts.
