Encinitas City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES TO DESIGN THE SAN TA FE DRIVE WESTERN PHASE MODIFICATION PROJECT, identified under Solicitation ID: ENG RFP 25-10. Work is to be performed near 505 S Vulcan Ave, Encinitas, CA 92024, USA in San Diego County.
General Project Description
The City of Encinitas is seeking professional engineering services to design the Santa Fe Drive Western Phase Modification project. This complete-streets initiative aims to implement safety modifications, improve circulation, and enhance user experience along the Santa Fe Drive corridor from Gardena Road to Evergreen Drive. The scope of work includes preparing comprehensive design plans, specifications, and engineering documents covering roadway geometry, signalized intersection layouts, drainage modifications, stormwater BMP facilities, pavement resurfacing, planting and irrigation plans, and signing and striping. The selected consultant will also manage environmental documentation, permit acquisition support, utility coordination, community engagement, and provide detailed construction cost estimates, ensuring the design adheres to City, County, and State standards.
