General Project Description

This project involves asphalt overlays, slurry seals, surface and full-depth pavement repairs, crack sealing, and milling of asphalt pavements. It also includes the installation, removal, and replacement of concrete ramps, reconstruction of traffic detector loops, and adjustment of manholes, valves, and pavement striping/markings. The work is required across various roadways as specified in the base bid and additive alternates. Project work also includes water pollution control, traffic control, clearing and grubbing, untreated base material placement, and asphalt concrete applications (C2-PG64-10, B3-PG64-10, ARHM-GG-C Rubber AC Mix). Additional items include AC dikes, AC speed cushions, PCC curb ramps (all types, including colored), rebuilding traffic detector loops, painted traffic striping (2 coats), painted pavement markings, thermoplastic pavement markings, reflective pavement markers, traffic signs, adjustment of water valve covers, manhole covers, and monument covers, and installation of yellow flexi-posts. All work must conform to the provided plans, specifications, and standard drawings within the City of Encinitas.
