Escondido City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 26-06 – Construction Management and Testing/ Inspection for the Clean California Escondido Gateway Project, identified under Solicitation ID: RFP No. 26-06. Work is to be performed near 1440 S Escondido Blvd, Escondido, CA 92025, USA in San Diego County.
General Project Description
The City of Escondido, in partnership with Caltrans, is requesting proposals from qualified firms for construction management and testing/inspection services for the Clean California Escondido Gateway Project. The project involves constructing a new gateway monument sign and related improvements on State Route 78, including planting, irrigation, fencing, and paving treatments. The scope of services includes construction management tasks such as kickoff and pre-construction meetings, weekly progress meetings, coordination of quality assurance and quality control inspections, project closeout, and site visits. The construction work itself will involve demolition, excavation, installation of guard rail, structural work for the monument, traffic control, and other associated civil engineering improvements.
