General Project Description
The project involves providing traffic engineering services for the City of Escondido's HSIP Cycle 11 Signalized Intersection Safety Upgrades Project. The scope includes enhancing safety at 12 signalized intersections by upgrading traffic signal hardware (new signal heads, lenses, retroreflective backplates), installing pedestrian countdown signal heads, improving traffic striping, and implementing Leading Pedestrian Interval (LPI) operations with new 2070 traffic signal controllers. This entails preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and related design documents.
