General Project Description

This project involves site improvements for the renovation of three orchestra lifts in two theaters ("The Lyric and Community Theatre") within the California Center for the Arts, Escondido (CCAE). The scope includes removal and replacement of existing orchestra lifts, furnishing all necessary material and equipment per plans, specifications, and the bid schedule. Specific work items cover roof system modifications (demolition of existing roof, installation of TPO membrane, flashings, edge metal work), removal and disposal of the existing water chiller system, inspection and necessary repair of the wood substrate, and installation of single-ply accessories including boot flashings, roof jacks, termination bar, and walk pads. The contractor is responsible for the installation of all equipment, including footings and foundations, according to manufacturer’s instructions.
