General Project Description

This project involves the interior cleaning and inspection of various City of Fairfield potable water infrastructure, including above-ground steel reservoirs, treatment plant facilities, and high lift pump station sumps. The work includes removing debris, sediment, or sludge, performing comprehensive interior inspections with documentation, providing repair recommendations for distressed areas, conducting minor spot repairs, de-chlorination and filtration of cleaning discharge, installing flow meters on discharge, de-chlorination sampling, and maintaining reservoir water quality (disinfection) throughout the process. The reservoirs identified are Cement Hill, Nelson Hill, and Waterman Reservoir, with the high lift pump station sump at the Waterman Treatment Plant. All structures will remain at or near full capacity during the work.
