General Project Description

This project involves the removal and replacement of two existing 10,000-gallon sodium hydroxide chemical tanks with two new 10,500-gallon double-walled tanks at Camp Pendleton's Advanced Water Treatment Plant. The scope includes the removal and installation of associated piping, valves, instrumentation, and tank anchoring tie-downs. It also covers the removal, replacement, and relocation of overhead lighting and associated wiring/conduits, disconnection/removal of existing instrumentation, installation of tank vents with new roof penetrations, and startup/commissioning support. Work must be coordinated with CPEN operations staff to minimize interference with plant operations.
