General Project Description

The Folsom Public Library Roof Replacement project involves the removal and replacement of the existing low-slope roof system with a new, complete watertight and warrantied roofing assembly. The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, tools, and equipment, including demolition and proper disposal of existing roofing materials. The project also entails rough carpentry, installing roof insulation, modified KEE membrane roofing, and sheet metal flashing and trim. This work must provide a complete, warrantied roofing assembly as per manufacturer's instructions, with a minimum 20-year manufacturer’s warranty and a 2-year labor warranty. The building will remain occupied, requiring the contractor to manage site safety, provide restrooms, and coordinate work to avoid disrupting library operations.
