General Project Description

The Fontana Unified School District (FUSD) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide a comprehensive Crisis Alert System. The system must include wearable wireless alert buttons for all employees with two levels of alerting (staff-level and site-wide), multi-sensory notification for site-wide incidents (PA system integration, desktop takeover, color-coded strobes), and seamless connection to local/county police/sheriff and rescue communication systems. Key features also include real-time dynamic mapping of alert locations and safety assets, an independent wireless infrastructure, integrated visitor management (location tracking, identity/background checks), robust system support and maintenance, and reporting/analytics. The solution must be scalable, support wire-free deployment, operate independently of Wi-Fi or cellular networks, and integrate with existing district systems like AZURE SSO, Student Information Systems (e.g., Aeries), Office 365, and Google Workspace, while adhering to data privacy regulations (FERPA, COPPA, CSDPA).
