General Project Description

The Fremont Unified School District is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from experienced firms to establish a pool of qualified consultants for Material Testing and Special Inspection services. These services are required for various new construction, expansion, modernization, and renovation projects at any of the District's forty-two schools. The selected firms will be responsible for comprehensive material testing and special inspection, including coordinating with project inspectors and design professionals, obtaining DSA-approved documents, conducting tests according to ASTM and California methods, providing timely reports, identifying non-conforming work, and submitting verified reports to DSA. The scope encompasses various project phases including site work, foundations, framing, and appurtenances.
