General Project Description

The Fremont Union High School District is seeking proposals for a leased high-speed wide area network (WAN) connection between its District Office and the Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE). A fiber network is preferred, though other technologies will be considered. The service term will commence July 1, 2026, for three years, with an option for five additional 12-month extensions. All necessary installation and testing must be completed prior to the service start date. The connection requires a 10 Gbps capacity initially, with expansion capability to 100 Gbps, compatible with Juniper MX204 Routers using single mode LC fiber connections. Providers must be USF eligible and compliant with all federal E-Rate program requirements.
