General Project Description

This project involves the roof replacement of the Centerville Train Depot, a recognized historic resource. The scope includes the complete removal of existing roof shingles and underlayment, removal and protection of existing copper ridge flashing, repair or replacement of damaged wood sheathing, and the installation of new underlayment and specific wood roof shingles to create a reliable and long-lasting roofing system. All work must preserve the historic character and features of the building, adhering to specified plans, materials, and installation guidelines for cedar shingles, underlayment, metal flashing, and paint/stain.
