General Project Description

The project involves the modernization of the Birney Elementary School Administration Building Health Suite. The scope includes relocating non-bearing interior walls, reconfiguring interior cabinetry, and integrating corresponding mechanical, lighting, fire alarm systems, doors, interior finishes, and a new water heater. The project also covers general requirements, concrete work, metal fabrications, installation of openings (hollow metal frames, flush wood doors, door hardware, glazing), interior painting, window shade installation, comprehensive electrical and communication systems (structured cabling, public address, fire detection and alarm), earthwork (moving, trench excavation, backfill, erosion control), exterior improvements (asphalt and concrete paving, joint sealants, curb, sidewalk, chain link and decorative metal fences and gates), and utility work (water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage).
