General Project Description
This project involves an as-needed requirements contract for the emergency demolition of structures within the City of Fresno. The scope includes emergency demolition of structures, removal of foundations, flatwork, and demolition debris, followed by backfill/compaction of foundation areas, and removal of trees, weeds, etc., to leave a clean and level vacant lot. Work specifically includes demolishing substandard buildings, re-grading to existing surrounding lot elevation, capping sewer connections, and removing basement walls and floors. Disposal of hazardous materials like lead-based paint and asbestos, temporary fencing installation, and temporary road closures with traffic control are also required. The contractor must provide 24/7 availability with a maximum 90-minute response time for emergency services.
