General Project Description

This project involves the demolition of existing ceilings for the basement, first floor, and second floor of the Fresno County Central Library, coupled with fire sprinkler modifications in the basement. The scope includes replacing ceilings on the first and second floors with new T-bar, installing new ceilings in the basement, and extending mechanical ducts to the new ceiling levels. Additionally, existing lighting fixtures will be replaced with new components, and a new lighting system will be installed across all floors, including additional power circuits for two break rooms and the installation of new electrical panels. The project also entails the removal of non-friable asbestos containing material (sprayed-on acoustic ceiling material).
