General Project Description

This project involves the comprehensive installation of electrical, fire alarm, and low-voltage engineering services for a new modular building. The scope includes coordinating materials and equipment with building components, ensuring accessibility to disconnects, and verifying existing site conditions. Work encompasses underground conduit installation, concrete pull boxes, and the placement of various electrical devices such as receptacles (duplex, single, GFCI, TVSS), switches (local, lock type, momentary contact, pilot light, time switches, photoelectric controls), and robust identification and warning signage (high voltage, hard hat areas). Additionally, the project covers site demolition (concrete, asphalt), comprehensive earthwork (grading, excavation, backfilling, dewatering, compaction), installation of aggregate base courses for pavements and foundations, asphalt concrete paving (including patching and replacement), asphalt pavement seal coating, crack filling, and the application of pavement markings (traffic lines, playground graphics, accessible parking, bus loading zones). General requirements include traffic control, dust and noise mitigation, thorough cleanup, and legal disposal of all waste.
