Galt City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Fiber Optic Line Installation Project, identified under Solicitation ID: -. Work is to be performed near 380 Civic Dr, Galt, CA 95632, USA in Sacramento County.
General Project Description
This project involves the installation of fiber optic lines to upgrade the City of Galt's digital backbone. The scope includes horizontal directional drilling (HDD) for approximately 3,128 linear feet of new fiber optic cable and associated supporting equipment across five municipal sites (City Hall, Community Center, Parks & Recreation Building, Aquatic Center, and Galt Market Building). The required work encompasses surveying, utility location (pot holing), traffic control, pavement and surface restoration (asphalt, concrete sidewalks), and the installation of fiber distribution units (FDU racks and panels), pull boxes, locate wires, cable splicing, testing, and building penetrations. All work must comply with City of Galt General Provisions, Sacramento County Standard Construction Specifications (2016), Caltrans 2010 Specifications, and the California adopted Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
