General Project Description

The City of Galt is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide Construction Management (CM), Construction Inspection, and related support services for the Walker Park Phase IIA Project. The project involves the construction of park improvements, including baseball field improvements, associated site grading and drainage, concrete flatwork, pedestrian pathways, accessibility improvements, utility enhancements, site furnishings, landscaping, and ancillary park facilities such as restroom and storage room facilities. The selected consultant team will serve as part of the City's project delivery team, responsible for overseeing construction activities, coordinating with contractors and design consultants, ensuring project conformance with approved plans, specifications, and standards. The CM services entail project coordination for communications, conducting pre-construction and weekly meetings, monitoring construction schedules and Requests for Information (RFIs), preparing weekly progress reports, evaluating and recommending change orders, processing submittals, recommending progress payments, performing field inspections, managing field and laboratory testing services, preparing record drawings, identifying and resolving claims, performing all construction administrative activities, and providing final inspection and project closeout services.
