General Project Description

The project involves constructing new park improvements at Walker Community Park – Phase 2A in Galt, California. The scope of work includes adding three new baseball/softball fields, restroom buildings, parking lot expansion, a maintenance building, fencing and gates, a concession area, field lighting, and pedestrian connections. This encompasses grading and drainage, installation of site utilities, landscaping (with irrigation and bioswales), electrical lighting, concrete sidewalks, ADA improvements, shade structures, and other related items. The contractor is responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, methods, and processes to complete the work in a satisfactory and workmanlike manner, including the disposal of excess excavation and final cleanup, to the proper standards in coordination with the City Engineer.
