General Project Description

The Glendale Unified School District is seeking competitive proposals for Bundled Internet Services. The project involves providing Internet Access and two redundant Internet Connections (Circuits) for load balancing to various District locations. The service provider will be responsible for ensuring a minimum available bandwidth of 10Gbps, upgradeable to 100Gbps over three years, with 24/7/365 availability. The service hand-off will be directly to the Owner's Local Area Network, with fiber optic connections at specified points of demarcation (223 N. Jackson Street, Glendale and 4725 Rosemont Avenue, La Crescenta). The scope includes providing and maintaining all necessary premise equipment as an integral part of the service, ensuring full duplex operation, and supporting all TCP/IP, Layer 1, 2, and minimum Layer 3 protocols. The contract will be a multi-year service agreement.
