General Project Description
The Glendale Unified School District ("District") is seeking competitive proposals for WAN Data Circuits Services Agreements. This project involves providing Wide Area Network (WAN) connectivity, primarily fiber service at a minimum of 1 gigabit per second (1Gbps), for the District's hub (District Office) and 29 remote sites, utilizing a hub and spoke topology. The successful Service Provider must include all costs for on-site premise equipment as an integral part of the service, with the equipment remaining the property of the Service Provider. The District aims to possibly increase data circuit bandwidth for some of the 30 locations and requires pricing for 3-year agreements, with an option to renew annually for two additional years. This contract is subject to public works bidding requirements, and may involve the installation of equipment and cabling.
