General Project Description

Glendale Water & Power (GWP) is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide construction inspection services for the GWP Water Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) System Replacement Project. This main project involves the installation of 34,662 new water meters (sizes 5/8" – 16"), water meter valves, curb stop valves, water meter boxes, and AMI end points. The selected consultant will assign one full-time inspector for approximately 340 working days, covering pre-construction, construction observation, post-construction, and project closeout phases. Services include monitoring permits and compliance, attending project meetings, tracking schedule and budget, providing field reviews and punch lists, and comprehensive daily reporting and documentation.
