General Project Description
This project involves the demolition of an existing wooden stairway and associated concrete footings, followed by the construction and installation of a new concrete and steel stairway at the La Fetra Senior Center. The scope of work includes selective demolition, the installation of precast concrete stair treads, cast-in-place concrete elements, concrete reinforcement, structural steel framing, cold-formed metal framing, mechanical and architectural metals such as painted guard rails and structural columns, thermal and moisture protection (including self-adhering sheet waterproofing and sheet metal flashing and trim), joint sealants, and exterior painting.
