Golden Gate Bridge Highway and Transportation District is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Golden Gate Suspension Bridge Seismic Retrofit, Contract 1 North and South Towers and North and South Side Spans Construction Scheduling and Claim Review Services, identified under Solicitation ID: 2026-B-012. Work is to be performed near 101 E Sir Francis Drake Blvd, Larkspur, CA 94939, USA in Marin County.
General Project Description
The District is soliciting Statements of Qualifications and Proposals (SOQ&P) from qualified professional construction scheduling, cost estimating, and claim support consultants. These services are in support of the Golden Gate Suspension Bridge Seismic Retrofit, Contract 1 - North and South Towers and North and South Side Spans Project. The overall seismic retrofit project involves strengthening and structural modifications to the bridge, including towers, side spans, and roadway isolation joints; cleaning and painting structural steel (including lead paint abatement); utility modifications; and comprehensive traffic control and pedestrian/bicycle access maintenance. The selected consultant will provide various professional services including construction scheduling support (reviewing contractor schedules, developing independent schedules, time impact analyses), claim support (review and response to notices of compensable change, potential claims, and claims, claim resolution conferences), and cost estimating (independent cost estimates for additional compensation requests and change orders). The consultant will also perform contract administration and ensure compliance with project requirements using Primavera P6 scheduling software.
