General Project Description

The project generally includes site improvements and preparation for the future installation of prefabricated restrooms. The scope of work involves existing restroom demolition, grading, concrete sidewalk, driveway, curb and gutter, new utility services (water, sewer, and electrical conduit), hot mix asphalt paving, microsurfacing, and thermoplastic striping/markings. Other related items required by the plans, specifications, or special provisions shall also be performed, placed, constructed, or installed, including tree removal, aggregate base installation, utility trench bedding and backfill, crushed rock placement, water distribution system components (main tap, saddle, service lines, gate valves, drinking fountain, connections, and abandonment), sanitary sewer services (cleanout and backflow preventer), electrical conduit and pull boxes, reinforcement, minor concrete work, surface preparation, removal and replacement of hot mix asphalt, rock slope protection, bollard installation, and finishing roadway.
