General Project Description
This project involves the replacement of the existing sludge heater/boiler at the City of Grass Valley Wastewater Treatment Plant. The scope of work includes the purchase of a new sludge heater/boiler, the removal of the old equipment, and the installation of the new unit according to attached project plans and specifications. The contractor is responsible for the disposal of the existing sludge heater and maintaining a clean work area. Work hours are flexible, with the boiler allowed offline for 7-10 days between October 15th and March 31st, and a maximum of 5 days between April 1st and October 14th.
