Hanford City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, PLUNGE COMPETITION POOL AND SLIDE POOL REPAIRS, identified under Solicitation ID: 2026-12. Work is to be performed near 415 Ford St, Hanford, CA 93230, USA in Kings County.
General Project Description
This project involves the resurfacing and recommissioning of the competition and slide pools at The Plunge, 415 Ford Street, Hanford, CA. Work for the Slide Pool includes removing existing plaster and applying new plaster finish, replacing skimmers with watertight seals and new plumbing, removing and replacing perimeter pool tile, removing and replacing main pool drains (including trim and covers) with compliance to safety requirements, performing associated cement and plumbing modifications for watertight connections and functional systems, and adjusting or replacing guardrail fencing at the intermediate landing and top of the entry staircase to meet ASTM F1159-02, CCR 3209(a), and CCR 3195.9(h)(5) standards regarding height, 4-inch ball passage rejection, and overturning inhibition. For the Competition Pool, the scope includes removing existing plaster and applying a new plaster finish, with verification of compliance to pool safety and performance standards. All work must adhere to industry standards and manufacturer's (Whitewater) engineering specifications for the waterslide.
